Hello,
I have recently built a PC and I am having some problems with my monitor. I booted up the PC after installing everything but I didn't get a picture. I then took out everything except the video card and memory to see if I could get a live video. That worked so I installed the other components. Once again no picture. Now I get no picture even with the basics in just a lot of beeps. Can anyone help!! Thanks
Roberto

Need more info. Listen to the pattern of beeps it is giving you a problem code. Long continous beeps usually means problems with the memory. Check Bios Post Codes for your Bios Maker (Award, AMI, etc.).

re-install your ram and your video card. see if it now boots. if it does then add in only one card at a time to see if things function correctly.when after the next addition it fails to boot you've found your trouble maker.
