I've bought a Travelstar 2.5inch, 20GB harddrive. And a USB-to-IDE chasis. I'm using Win2k, but while searched the drive, but installing returned a code '28' saying there's no functional driver for this device. Or when I redo, I hit this : This device is not present, is not working properly, or does not have all its drivers installed. (Code 24) What should I do ?

Paul:

CODE 28 - Failed Installation - This device was not installed completely.

I have tried a Buslink USB HDD (USB-IDE Chasis) and there is a specific driver to enable the chasis. Try installing it again before plugging in the HDD, and see if that works.
