A bit like telling a mechanic on the phone my car doesn't work. The more detail the better in trying to diagnose a problem.
In your case could you try unplugging one speaker or switching balance. Possibly another set of speakers.
Possibly the software is corrupt such as if your using winamp try media player.
Trish or someone else might be able to help you further if you can give more detail.
