Can anyone please help me out....My computer contracted a virus and everything was wiped out. I was running Windows 98SE at the time. The problem is, the place I bought the computer from failed to give me the driver disks (rescue disk ?)and I didn't know this at the time. So, I have been searching the last 2 weeks for driver downloads to get this computer up and running again. But I am getting frustrated. I did manage to find out that it is a PCCHips #M741LMRT motherboard and I did find a website for PCChips, but am highly confused as to what downloads to use. I am trying to find a video card driver or something compatible for an AGP8M Ultra DMA66. I have searched and searched. Can anyone out there give me any help at all in where to start or just direct me in the right direction? I can't go to the place that sold me the computer because they are no longer in business. What do I do? HELP PLEASE. |

The M741LMRT uses the SiS chipset integrated video pci controller SiS620 I believe www.sis.com.tw will have the video drivers you need as well as the chipset drivers. The sound is Cmedia www.cmedia.com.tw or http://www.stud.fernuni-hagen.de/q3998142/pcchips/ and enter m741lmrt under Start here if you know which board you own. |
