Hello I need anyone's advice!

I have a P3-450 with a Soundbaster 16PCI, a Kortex modem and a Voodoo 3 Graphic Card. I purchased a Hercules 4500 64MB AGP card and installed it but the sound in games is distorted and choppy. I have tried uninstalling the Sound card and the Modem but when removing the modem on the physically then restarting the PC wont jig. Hercules aren't any help as all their websites are down? I think it's something to do with IRQ but I'm at my wits end. any advice...

What OS are you using? Can you give a listing of IRQ usage? What pci slot is your soundcard in?

Hello people,

Just to let you know I've fixed it.

I picked up new chipset drivers off the VIA Tech website. Their called 4 in 1 file and it worked.

I hope this might help someone else out there..

It's great when it's as simple as that.
