I am having a great deal of trouble with this notebook. I need the drivers for the CD-ROM which is not being recognized and for the ATI video which is gone. Tried unsuccessfully to apply after dponloading from Compaq. The screen also says the Hardware Installation Wizard is not there?

have you tried downloading the driver for the ati directly from ati's site?
