Just built my new pc with the A7V333 Mboard and when i boot it the only thing that registers is the floppy disk.
Any ideas how to get it to read my WD60 gig harddrive, CdRW, and dvd?
Thanks

Sounds like it might have something to do with the order in which the parts are plugged into the cable. Look at the recommended primary/secondary master/slave configuration options on the cdr/w instructions. Basically, you want to space them. But don't take my advice (I'm in Hardware Hell too).

Best setup for your rig is WD HDD 60 gig on primary IDE as master all by itself. Run the DVD as master and the CDRW as slave on the secondary IDE. Check the Western Digital websight for proper jumper placement for single drive as you may have to remove the jumper on the Harddrive altogether. Also make sure you are using the 80 conductor 40 pin IDE cable for the Harddrive.
