This may sound like a very stupid question!!! But... how can I find on my pc what my processor is? I know its an AMD but no idea what Mhz it is... anyone help? I've also just bought a second hand lap top I would like to do the same with. Many thanks in advance. |

well, you can see the speed when it posts, assuming everything's set correctly, when it boots up. it'll say something like XXX MHZ somewhere. or, in windows, go to system information, and see what it says there. note that it may not display the cpu as amd may say intel, or pentium class, but windows is pretty good about it. only some it won't recognize the brand name correctly. |
