The bios should have set the processor speed automatically. On bootup press the pageup key to reset it.

I have the same motherboard @ the store (Frys) the default was 1.8 qhz that is 100/100 in your bios setup. This should work for you.
I have a 2.4 ghz athalon and at 100/100 at home it only reads 1.1 qhz which is wrong and at 133/133 it reads 1.7ghz, which should be 2.4 ghz. I cant figure how it worked in store w/ their power supply and at home 1 hr later it wont see the proper 2.4 ghz. I think i will take it back soon if i can't find a solution.

The ECS K7s5A gets alot of bad 'press'. I've had 4 of these, and they work great. The XP1800 does use 133/133 - maybe your ram is only PC-100 ?
The CAS time can be causeing problems, as can the RAM speed - FAST,Normal and Ultra are the choices. Set it to NORMAL, Set CAS to SPD , and set the CPU freq. to 133/133 - if it fails to boot, you may have a bad CPU, mis-marked CPU, or... - One question is, is the CPU new on the board, or was it working OK, then quit ? If it was working, then quit - check the CPU fan. If the CPU got too hot, it may no longer run at 133, but will limp along for a while @ 100.
Post a bit more info Grimmm
