hi all I've just brought a second hand digital hinote ultra cs450 laptop to mess around on, however it has the supervisor password enabled on the bios, Ive been trawling the web for weeks to find a way around this with no success, I've tried all the password crackers, flashes, debuging and even bios viruses and none of these will touch it not even leaving the batteries disconected over night! (the password request is still intacted). all i want to do is configure it to boot from the hard drive instead of floppy. please help someone out there must have had this same problem at some point and knows the answer, is there a tool, trick or website out there I haven't found yet. the bios is: systemsoft bios for digital hinote ultra version 1.42 thanks in advance regards |

I haven't found much info on your laptop other than it no longer is supported. I know you've tried password crackers and such, but you never know what might work. So hopefully the link below might help. Meanwhile I'll keep digging. http://www.drivermuseum.com/files/utils/bios_u.html |

I kept poking around at this compaq site and came up with 3 responses to your question. I hope this will do it for you. p.s. You may want to hurry to this site, it's being shut down soon. 1. This website will help you locate the closest one in your area http://compaq.infonow.net/bin/findNow?CLIENT_ID=COMPAQ_BUS_USA&MARKET=SERVICE. You can also call the Digital line at 1-800-354-9000 for more information. |
