I don't know what's wrong. IE/WM will not let me open media files from the web. Embeded files play just fine (on sites), and WM will play media files already on my computer. How ever, when I go to open ANY link to ANY media file on the net, I get an (Error=800C0005). Someone please help me! |

sounds like you don't have the codecs for that file. either that, or something else is set to use the particular file. try going to the windows media site, and downloading the codecs again, and installing them. they come in a package. also, wm is supposed to go ask for a codec if it doesn't have it, and if it doesn't, or can't, then you have to use another player, such as real, or quicktime. you can download and install divx codecs too. |
