This has been an ongoing problem since the summer holidays.

At first, when I turned my computer on it starts to load up but then gets to just after the harddrive testing and RAM testing screen and would just reset and give me a blank screen. I would leave it off for a while and depending how long I left it determined how long it would boot up for before it just reset again.

I opened up my computer checked the wires (blindly pulled some out and plugged them back in again) and mangaged to get it working again.

Recently my computer has been just reseting sometimes randomly and always when I try to start a new season of CM01/02. It just reboots.

I have AMDk7 700mhz, win2000 and havnt a clue why this is happening, please help!

Try reseating the memory cards and the video card. The video card can easily come lose if it's a agp card. The newer motherboards are coming out with a clip on the back of the jack to stop the card from working it's way out.

I have the same processor and I'm running winME and I had the same exact thing happen to me about a two weeks ago. I have come to the conclusion that my power supply just partially died. When I replaced it with a new one the lights on my motherboard all lit up like they where supposed to. Don't quote me on that, but I would sure check in to it. Ed
