hardware: AMD ATHLON 1.1 CPU k7sem motherboard to set/configure Geforce4TI4200 64MB DDR or reset motherboard to original onboard graphics AS WE HAVE FAILED EVERYWHICHWAY to add the geforce4 - Can you please HELP EITHER WAY- TO SET THE GF4 -(WHEN WE PLUG IN THE MONITOR ON THE GF4 card IT IS BLANK but works on a low color/resolution on the motherboard plug.We took it out and now the onboard graphics is down to 2-16colors -resolution 480 x680.(is the motherboard incompatible -it uses sdram 128MB G4 HAS 64MB DDR Please help guys -thanks email sarawanvjs@telkomsa.net or post here please. |

Power to the AGP Slot is an issue with Geforce4 cards and the K7sem. Only a few brands will work out of the box. You may be able to find a bios update at ECS to compensate for the compatability. http://www.ecs.com.tw/ |

If no updates are available to fix the Geforce4 problem, try reloading the video drivers for the onboard video. |

E.S. -thanks for the tip will let you know the outcome later. Does anyone have a motherboard that has no problems with the GF4TI4200 and AMD 1.1 CPU or any other CPU -PENTIUM OR AMD? -PLEASE let me KNOW. know. |

Thanks E.S - I've got it back to square 1 (with the onboard graphics working AT 32 BIT. Still to try again with the gf4ti4200 as you suggested PERHAPS OVER THE WEEKEND. |
