When I try to boot my computer I get the messages Primary Slave - Not detacted and Secondary slave - Not dectected, the curser flashes and nothing else happens, please help I have work I have not backed up! |

some files are broken (like himem ...) so i arrive on start with "mode sans echec" and when i get ">c:" the sytem tell me type "c:\windows\command.com" ; if i type this command line it gives me always the same message before. i have no more commnd.com i think, so i can't type a "scandisk" or fdisk command.
When i try to boot on drive A with o boot disquet, i have the invite dos A :it's ok , but the system is unable to reconize my primary disk C, so i can't use the scandisk command on C:
i'm on windows 95
