Please see my post two threads previous. Thanks to E.S. for help so far

Have IBM Travelstar IC25N040ATCS04. Trying to connect to IDE on my desktop. No success. Not recognized by my BIOS.

Drive is marked with "Apple HDD firmware 2001"

Can this be the compatibility issue?
