Unable to access the bios on my K7sem Motherboard. Neither the DEL, F1 or F2 keys will allow access. I understand that there may be a jumper setting which needs to be changed? I'm trying to set my bios to read my A drive and then my CD drive on bootup. At the moment I cannot re-install WIN XP nor run XP repair, because my computer bypasses both drives. Assistance would be much appreciated. |

There have been alot of issues with the K7sem mainboard and bios problems. I doubt there is a jumper to configure bios access. What you can do is force a bios error by powering down the system and unplug it, pop the small disk battery out of it's holder on the mainboard for 2 or 3 minutes reinstall the battery, plug it in and power it up. Now your CMOS settings are all at default such as time and date and any cpu settings and a message should appear stating such and allow you to enter cmos with F1 or what ever is specified. |
