:-( anyways... my Old pc had A Cis530 board and an onboard video card with an on board FM801 sound card...

The problem starts when I took my burner out and put it in my nice new pt4.. I dun care much for the computer but I want to fix it for server usage.

The problem is that well... when I turn it on... it sounds like it's on lifesupport I can hear my hard drives working... but my the video card isn't forcing any output to the monitor. IT'S DEAD!

Reseat your memory on the 530 board. If that doesn't take care of it reset the cmos with the cmos clear jumper with the power off and system unplugged for a minute or so. Move the jumper back to normal and power up if all goes well the system will give a cmos checksum error and prompt you to enter cmos where you can reset everything to normal.
If that doesn't work than start with the basics of removing unneeded components such as cdrom and modem etc to see if one of these items are causing the no P.O.S.T. blues.
