Well, I haven't had much luck with the Chicony. QDI's technical support site can be found at: http://www.qdigrp.com/eng/support.htm |

Chicony's website doesn't even mention motherboards. www.chicony.com you could try emailing them. :( I also seems that many other folks are in the exact same boat as you are trying to find jumper settings for various Chicony mainboards. I imagine that you got this mainboard as part of a built system, I dont think I have ever heard anyone ask for a Chicony mainboard during my five years in computer retail. I wish you luck, but if you replace it, with any mainboard, make sure the website for that mainboard has a good tech support section. I dont buy mainboards from companies that don't have both old and new driver downloads, manuals, etc.... Best of luck. I did spend about 30 minutes searching the web on your behalf, but all I found were others in your shoes, as I said. |

I did some more searching and found an obscure technical support phone number, apparantly for Chicony motherboards. I have no idea how old this number is, but it may be worth a phone call. 714-771-9067 |

I'm looking for the V4P895GRN jumper doc too. I found http://interlink.riss-telecom.ru/Pub/DRIVERS/Mainboard/QDI/BIOS.HTM and also http://www.powerutils.com The first one has an FTP link that seems to be down but maybe that is temporary. The last one claims to have the jumper settings doc on a CD (#4) for sale. Go figure. I still don't have the document but this is interesting. If anyone finds paydirt please post it here. |
