Go to c:\windows\history and delete all that you can. All that should be left is a dat file which is hidden and a folder with a dat file. Don't delete the dat files. |

No this isn't it. No matter how many times i delete the history, they still remain. Ive deleted the index.dat file, but the addresses still remain in the address bar. |

I have seen a virus that does this. Bootup in safe mode and try to delete the files in the history folder. Check internet explorer to see if it worked. If it does check the msconfig for something strange running. Uncheck everything but explorer if need be to isolate the problem file. |

yah pornography can do this to you sometimes. If i was you i would unplug from the internet, then erase all the files. If this doesn't work, try downloaing sbybot search and destroy and research on how to find and get rid of registration files. Also check your win.ini. i would use start> run > win.ini and search the whole thing. Best i can do. |
