I have XP Home Edition (new Dell purchased 3/03)and want to try the deltree approach to deleting the temporary files. I cannot find DOS - actually, there seem to be a number of "notepad" dos options when I run a search, but which should I use? Also, the autoexec.bat examples provided are good, but I need every keystroke spelled out, if anyone has the time and inclination.

XP doesn't have any DOS support other than from within a DOS SHELL so deltree may or may not give the desired results as XP is NT based and files and folders are not where they would be in a DOS Based Operating system like Win98.
