I have a HP 5320 pc which is 4 years old. I have installed a usb port on to the PCI card. It required win 98 therfore i upgraded to win98. installation was okay. but when i tried to connect a iomega zip drive or any other usb device the the pc stops and a blue screen appears saying INTERRUPT. AND I HAVE TO RESTART THE COMPUTOR. please someone help me i am desperate to use my zip drive.

Did you try hooking it up while the computer was off? I know most will say it doesn't matter with USB, but I tend to disagree. I have seen problems hooking it up with the computer on, but not unhooking it. And who knows with an HP 5320...wouldn't doubt it. Just a thought. |
