I've just upgraded from built-in mobo audio(Crystal Soundfusion) to a Soundblaster AWE64 with the latest drivers installed for the card & joystick(Saitek Cyborg 3D Digital). When I disable the Crystal audio I get sound but windows says my joystick isn't connected. When Crystal audio is enabled the joystick works, but no sound from anything but the CD drive. I've tried the joystick in both the front gameport & theport on the Soundblaster. Any ideas? |

PC's can only have one gameport enabled at a time. Evidently, your onboard port isn't disabling. Hunt around in bios setup to see if the gameport disables separately from the sound. If not, then maybe you can disable the AWE 64 gameport, and use the onboard gameport with the AWE 64 sound |

hi it appears the mach one card is manufactured by the labway co. Chipset: Ective 1935 Model: J6X FCC ID: LWHA451J6 does this info match what is on your sound card? if this is correct, the driver page is here. http://www.labway.com/moredrivers.htm however there are only win95/98/win nt 4.0 drivers listed. |
