How to bypass the boot password for a dell latitude cpi a400xt? I tried to unplugged the CMOS batteries, but nothing...I've tried also for a program called LATITUDE that give a MASTER password using TAG of notebok but nothing.. Bios version is Phoenix A05 Help me, please... |

I know this may sound obvious, but did you make sure ALL the batteries were removed? You also might need to leave them out for up to an hour. |

The last time I had to deal with this prob, the system had to be sent to Dell,, This is a fairly new thing they do to render the system useless if it is stolen,,, they need proof of purchase ans serial numbers , and then for a fee, they will clear it for you |
