My laptop won't do anything when plugged in. The battery charging LED lights up, put the power button does nothing. Any ideas?

This happens to me on occaision with my Dell Inspiron. I plug in the power adapter, rather than using the battery and then it fires right up. Fortunately, I haven't been in a situation where all I had was the battery. It then will revert back to the battery just fine. Not sure if this will help... |
