I use Windows ME for my PC. Yesterday I erased the folder "Online Services" on the desktop and after that I scanned the harddisk. Then I was told there was an error. I then restarted the PC, but when I entered Windows system, it hang. I restarted once again, the monitor didn't respond and just showed black screen.
Can anyone told me how to fix it? |

The folder "Online Services" shouldn't have any effect like this. I have no experience with ME, but doesn't it have some sort of "Restore System" option booting to the cd? Do you have an old Win9x boot floppy you could see if you can boot to it? Just a few random thoughts... |
