Ok here is what happened, i bought a new computer and wanted to set it up so that my new computer has the internet threw cable, like the one in my basement does. So i bought some line and a hub. I connected them the way u are sussposed to. My computer in the basement worked cause it already has the net. And i got the new one working by using internetconnection wizard or somthing like that. so they both worked good. A few days later, for some reason the new computers internet doesnt work but the one downstairs does. When ever i go to connect to the net with my newone it cant connect. and when i look at the hub lights the line going to my new comp is not full lit up but the computers line lights are. How might i go about fixing this problem and why did it happen? (i have windows 2000 professional.)

Thanks for the help,
annoyed and confused

Can you share files between the two computers? Are both computers logged on to the network?

Found that sometimes going through internet connection wizard again can sometimes correct a problem.
