I have a new modem 3com usr oem 2977 came with the driver and when trying to install the driver I get a message that this has performed and illegal act. I do not know why. Can you help? |

This message sometimes appears when there is a fault in Internet Explorer. To test do the following: start/settings/control panel/addremove programs. Double click Internet Explorer and select "repair internet explorer" in the box that appears.
This does not always work but worth a try.
