Hi I've got a hand-me-down GeForce 256 Pro which seems to work intermittently how can I tell if it's the hardware that's broken or just one of the myriad conflicts that might occur. I have an HP Brio BA 410 (basicly a business computer) with video and sound built into the main board. Tried various drivers etc. demos just work occasionally. Cheers for anticipated help...Roddy |

hi for hp brio, the drivers are here http://www.hp.com/cposupport/nonjsnav/pchome.html for gforce card, go here for drivers http://www.nvidia.com/us/ie/view.htm some things to look for: make sure you have the correct drivers for the version of windows you are using check for irq and i /o conflicts in device manager try the card in another slot or motherboard if it's an agp card to rule out the posssibility of bad slots or maybe the card is faulty |
