How do I recreate the network adapter for Windows ME without the windows installation CD? I am not capable to rebuilding aol adaptor and have difficulting accessing some websites and playing games. The Windows Network Control Panel appears to be damaged since the AOL Adapter is not listed. How can I fix this? |

if the missing aol adapter is the problem, aol support should be able to walk you through the proccess. have you tried speaking with their support staff? |

I have been in contact with aol and have done everything that they said. The AOL adapter is missing and they said if it is not listed, the Windows Network Control Panel may be damaged. |

the next thing that would occur to me,( if you haven't tried already)is, if aol can't help me, would be to un-install aol and try a re-install to see if that works. first ,i would save the "organize" folder(found in the aol folder to restore "my favorites" , which you will drag and drop onto the main aol folder after re-installation. hope this will do the trick |
