New 'puter, 1.5 p4 cpu, 256 k ram, windows 2000 pro., radeon 64 meg ve video card. On all playback media (winmedia/real player/quicktime), i only get dark vertical lines on playback screen; if screen minimized and restored, picture appears for about 1 second. Audio ok. Latest Radeon drivers installed. Suggestions? Thanks!

have you gone into "preferences" option for the media programs your having trouble with, to try adjusting the video performance options?
