I have an AMPTRON PM9600 Mobo, and I was working in the COMS when I came across something that I have never figured out. For SDRAM, there are three items in there which I do not know. And they are:

1) SDRAM CAS LATENCY: Choices of 2 and 3
2) SDRAM TIMING: Choices of 3-6-9, 3-5-8, 3-4-7, and 2-5-7
3) SDRAM SPECULATIVE READING: Enabled/Disabled

Any enlightenment, anyone?

You might check out our most recent BIOS tweak at http://www.hardwarehell.com/bioscomp.htm which kind of explains part of this. Then check out http://www.hardwarehell.com/biosarch.htm where I think these setting are listed. Depending on your board, a word or two may vary but you'll get the idea.
