I have a HPO Officejet 635 hich is also a scanner - I have recently purchased a UMAX 2100U scannner and have plugged it into my USB but when I try to load it onto the computer it is obviously in conflict with the printer. Is there any way around this as I only want to use the print as a printe. |

hi
some things that comes to mind are
1. is usb enabled in bios
2. could the twain drivers from the hp scanner/printer(are they automatically loaded during the printers installation?can they be removed or disabled?)be the problem with the twain drivers from the umax.
just some thoughts
