The two bottom corners of my monitor are purple and the two top corners are green. What is wrong and can it be fixed? |

Your monitor needs to be degaussed (demagnetized). Most monitors have a degaussing coil built in to them, and circuitry which activates it when the monitor is turned on. If you turn your monitor off, and then back on after a few minutes, the degaussing coil should take care of the problem. If it does not, then the degaussing circuit needs to be repaired. It can also be manually degaussed. Visit a local TV repair shop, and ask the technician if you can borrow or buy a degaussing coil, and get instructions on its use. Or perhaps you could bring them the monitor and let them do it. |
