... about 700 3DMark2001 points, regardless of screen size, 16 or 32 bits etc. It's an ASUS7100 16Mb card on an Asus P2B 440 BX board with 256 Mb of RAM. PII 266Mhz processor running at 250 Mhz with a FSB of 100Mhz. Its running on the latest asus drivers, 12.90 in Win 2000. Any ideas? Thanks. |

Have heard many say that you have to experiment with the drivers for these cards. Such as 12.9 may work great for one system but not for others. Would suggest trying other older drivers. Also a slower CPU can be a bottleneck. I run my Geforce MX 400 on a P3 750 and saw others with quite a bit higher scores. When I started comparing saw that mine was in line for the processor as the higher scores were on higher processors. Kevin |
