I bought a 3dfx card at a swap meet, big chip says 3dfx 355-0025-001. A small chip has a sticker 'V3 1000' & 2.15.05'. On the back 'N2544'. Also on the back a sticker Compaq Computer Corp; 49125. Also, 3dfx Interactive 210-0383-001-A0. Been looking awhile but cant ID exactly what card I have. |

Looks to me like a Voodoo 3 1000. The main voodoo 3 cards were the 2000, 3000 & 3500 but some Compaq type companies also got the castrated 1000(keeps the cost of the PC's down whilst offering the latest in Voodoo3 technology). Abit like the TNT2 M64, or GeforceMx200 compared to the rest of the product range. |
