Help! I was in the middle of printing from a file from a floppy disc in my A Drive. The printer stopped and showed that it was deleting its instructions. I then attempted to access the same file but the error message "The document name or path is not valid......" I have found the error message on the Microsoft help site but was no help. There were 6 files on the floppy disc, 4 are still ok but 2 (one I was printing from and one other are no longer accessible). The printer managed to print 45 copies of a 100 run. The file was just a standard Microsoft word document which I have used many times before without incident. Any suggestions would be very helpful. JO |

If you have access to Norton Disk Doctor, it may be able to restore the two files. Norton Utilities has proven to be a pain at times, but I've been glad for Disk Doctor to restore a number of corrupted floppies. Tony |
