Help!
I was in the middle of printing from a file from a floppy disc in my A Drive. The printer stopped and showed that it was deleting its instructions. I then attempted to access the same file but the error message "The document name or path is not valid......"
I have found the error message on the Microsoft help site but was no help.
There were 6 files on the floppy disc, 4 are still ok but 2 (one I was printing from and one other are no longer accessible).
The printer managed to print 45 copies of a 100 run.
The file was just a standard Microsoft word document which I have used many times before without incident.
Any suggestions would be very helpful.

If you have access to Norton Disk Doctor, it may be able to restore the two files. Norton Utilities has proven to be a pain at times, but I've been glad for Disk Doctor to restore a number of corrupted floppies.

Thanks for reply. I have not got Norton Disk Doctor. Any other suggestions or can I download Norton?
