ello everyone...
im gona buy a comp off a work mate, the specs for it are:

Packard Bell
Pentium 3 450mhz
8.4GB hard drive
320MB ram
32MB NVIDIA GForce 2 MX 400
Sound Blaster 64
6x DVD
Windows 98 SE
NO MONITOR

He wants £200 for it, do you think its worth it?

If its a PB Platinum series its not a bad deal.

Packard Bell Platinum Series computers were at one time the systems to have in Europe and USA, check the model number. They are very upgrade friendly. Sometimes I wish Packard Bell was still in the USA, I liked working on them.

yes i someone did mention that packard bell went out of business in america...
someone also did say £200 is too much for a system like that!
oh well..im buying it either way!
My current computer is making weird noises, i think the fans messed. and the bloody hard drive makes toooo much noise. so i need a new comp.
anyway thanks for your help
