I was given an old 486 mainboard. It has 3xPCI, 3xISA, 2xSIMM (72 p.). Chipset: SiS 85C496/85C497. Supports DX4/100. Printed on it is "SiS 496/7G rev. 1.02". Unfortunately, I can't get the BIOS string. Any idea about the model or manifacturer? |

SiS 496/7G is the chipset on the motherboard not the manufacturer. |

2E.S. I know that Sis 496/7G - Is not manufacturer. But it is label on the motherboard. And it is only one label, that can help identify this board. And I'm not a lamer, how you can think 2Emilio Does your motherboard work? I have such, and I don't know jumper settings. Can you say me it for all jumpers? Why you want to know the manufacturer and model? I think that is NoName motherboard from the china. Hear model impossible. |
