I was given this beautiful new CD burner for Christmas, but it doesn't seem to be working. It DID work a few times, and the main difference is that I installed OS X. But here's the deal... when I use iTunes or Toast to try to burn, the computer tells me that it is burning, I hear the burner spinning and the lights are blinking. When it reaches the end: in iTunes: it gets stuck in the "finishing" process in Toast: it tells me the disc is ready and ejects it, as if everything is perfect When I take the CD and put it in a player it doesn't recognize anything. I put it back into the computer and it tells me that there is nothing on it, and that all the space it originally had is available. So, it seems that the whole time it was "burning" it was actually doing nothing. So... my question: is this an OS X deal? Do I just need to get the burner replaced? A firmware thing? Help!!! John |

ok mate!, i think you need to try using other software for burning!... remember that the software MUST support your CDWR model! also, have you emailed Revo?... try reading the faqs!... http://www.cdrevo.com/faqs_tech.asp Thanks for your post! |
