Hold the power button in, it may take 5 seconds or so. If that does not work, flip the kill switch in the back (if you PC has one). If all else is exhausted, unplug the computer. |

I have had this problem myself several times. Restarting my computer, loading Windows again and then shutting off my computer normally has worked for me.
I don't know what causes this behavior. But there is a good chance that the computer has problems shutting off. This can occur when one or more apps refuse to close. |
