I have just built a new system using Asus A7V266-E motherboard and it works great except for one thing. When I shut the power off the machine, I lose my clock settings. I have to reset my clock each day. Living in Florida, it pays to unplug from the wall. There is not a surge protector that will protect from a direct lightening strike. |

Sometimes, we overlook the simple things: Is the BIOS battery okay? Do you reset the clock in the BIOS? Do other settings you make in the BIOS keep? |
