I put a CD disk into my drive D on my computer and the lights went on but it didn't register or read my disk. So I went to "My Computer", but Disk Drive D wasn't there! A and C were, but no D! I don't know when or how this happened. I was using my PictureIT CD just the other day and it worked fine. Jessi |

Hello Jessi, A little more information would be good like what operating system you are using and some hard ware spec's, motherboard, cpu, etc. The main problem I have seen when this happens is the motherboard chipset drivers get lost by Windows and need to be reinstalled to pick up the CDROM. What you can do is look in the control panel/system/device manager and check if it is there. You can also check for any ! marks next to devices, which will reveal what needs to be "fixed". |
