I have a new compaq 7000 series computer with a pioneer DVR-A03 combination dvd/cd drive. The only problem I have is that it locks up when it reads and writes to a CD-RW disc. CD-R works fine. compaq sent someone to replace the hardware and it still does the same thing. It sounds like a software problem and they can't solve it. They told me to stop using CD-RWs. I have windows me. Any ideas? |

That may be the only recourse right now until a firmware update is released to correct the CDRW lock. Doesn't appear as if Pioneer has addressed it yet so it may be awhile. |
