I HAVE ANOTHER SECOND PC OF FOLLOWING CONFIG: CELERON 465 64MB RAM 8.4GB HARD DISK 1.44 FLOPPY DISK DRIVE. NOW I WOULD LIKE TO SOME HOW INTERCONNECT BOTH THE ABOVE PC'S SO THAT I CAN SHARE OR CHOOSE TO WORK ON EITHER OF THE TWO THROUGH A SINGLE MONITOR AND KEYBOARD. KINDLY SUGGEST HOW CAN THIS BE DONE. THANKS & REGARDS ASHISH |

There's some form of monitor switch which you can connect different video cards too, and then connect the monitor to it. Then just switch 'em from there. Very common around servers which don't need their own monitor very often. I think keyboard/mouse can even be connected to it. Unfortunately I'm not sure what it's called, do a search on a hardware site for switches though. |

For example: http://direct.mwave.com/mwave/doc/915690.html And that switch is avalible for 2/4/8 computers. Bit pricy, but nevertheless, save you big on space and money for multiple monitors/keyboards/mice. BTW, my username does not at all reflect my view of my AMD Athlon XP 1900+ CPU...just as it stands I cannot use it due to a faulty motherboard. And I classify my computer as a AthlonXP, so, I love my CPU...but I just can't use it yet. New motherboard should arrive early this week. |
