I would like to upgrade the RAM in my PC. It currently has 128mb. I have heard from a couple people that having more than 128mb of RAM in Win98 will not make a difference in performance. Apparently Win98 cannot effectiveley make use of the extra memory. Is this true or should I upgrade to 256. |

256 is ok for 98SE but that would be about the limit, In control panel system settings under the performance tab you can select to setup as server to optimize memory use. This in no way makes your computer a server or anything it just makes sure that memory is cached properly before the HDD cache takes over. |
