Picked up the Epson at a yard sale for 5 bucks, paper jam cleared and now, just for the heck of it, I attached printer to PC and the darn HP printer driver worked!!!! Qustion is, can I use any other up to date HP driver that gives me control over DPI and print quality? Am I hurting the Epson by using the HP drivers? |

Epson/HP were made at the same plant much like Cannon and Lexmark so it isn't unusual for one printer driver to work with the other. What may save you money is to see if cartridges are compatable as well. |
