Ok, didn't know really where to put this... but anyways, when I rebooted I now all of a sudden have a message that pops up and says 'could not load digital link library', what happened and how can I fix this problem? A lot of my settings are gone and now some programs will not function properly. Thanks, K |

.DLL files are sometimes lost or names changed due to viri or when uninstalling software. What O.S. are you running and did you install/uninstall any programs lately? |

I'm operating an HP Pavillion Windows ME and I'm sure I've probably installed or uninstalled programs lately. I'm pretty sure I don't have avirus because I have a farely strong firewall... Is there any way other than reformatting to get these files back? |

Firewalls don't stop email viri only trojans and BOTS from what I have discovered so don't discount virus activity. If you can list some of the .DLL files missing I may be able to help you a bit more. Here is a thought, since you are running WinMe have you tried the system restore feature? |
