Hello I am facing a problem with my computer and on asking around found a number of people who had the same problem. Please help I turn on my comp and fans run, all drives can be heard runnning, but the monitor never turns on. i have checked all connections, The motherboard has integrated video . No matter what i do, the monitor just stays off no matter how long i wait. everything else seems to be running fine. I tried to take out all cards and drives except for floppy and try to boot, and still there is nothing. i have tried resetting CMOS battery and changing power supply voltage, i just cant get it to work. please help Thanx Charanjeet |

hmm Is the floppy Light Always on? If so you have your floppy drive installed incorrectly. Try unplugging it too. Just a stab in the dark Gluck |

Some mobo's will not post if the floppy and/or ram is not present. Check RAM by re-installing the stick(s). Check floppy by 1st checking the light as Jazz suggest -- check/replace floppy ribbon cable - What power supply voltage was change? Are there any beeps from the speaker? |

Probably you have already tried this but in case you haven't will mention it. Although a pain in the butt I usually find trying other parts or trying parts elsewhere often is the quickest way to pin point a problem. Such as in this case taking the monitor to another computer or put a another video card in for a test. |

I have the same problem. I hear everything start up, but the power light does not come on, the computer does not beep, and there is no display on the monitor. I know the monitor works. Any suggestions are appreciated. |
