I have a pc connected into a lan. However floppy drive access for my pc is disabled (and also cd).I dont have access to BIOS setup. Is there some way i can enable it from dos prompt. I remember i have read it somwhere. Help me |

Wow, that's tight! I guess when working for a company like that, there's no need to worry about a little secret access. Sorry. As to your question, I'm clueless. Maybe someone else knows. |

On the motherboard of the computer is a little battery.Don't forget to turn off the power when you opens the pc (unplug the powercable). Remove the battery from the motherboard and then wait a few seconds. Place the battery back on the board and re-assemble your pc. Boot the pc. The BIOS shut be accessible now. If there was a password for entering the BIOS, it's gone. All settings are going to be set default. Now you can enter the BIOS. (The battery provides power on the C-MOS so it can 'remember' the BIOS-settings. I hope you're helped with it. Cee Ya |
