i have a pci voodoo 3 2000, i want to use the warranty on it to get a new card, so if i overclocked it to the point where it fried itself would it damage the motherboard or anything else besides itself? if it would then is there any other simple ways i can destroy it and make it look accidental?

The object of this forum is to fix things not destroy them.
A warranty will only cover an identical replacement or repair anyway. It's not going to get you a better card than the one you have now.
You could sell it and put that towards the better card you have in mind.
Not preaching but you asked for something that this forum doesn't cover.
